1. How do you describe yourself as an artist?
I am a playwright who also works in TV, film, musicals and opera.
2. What's the best part of your job?
Using writing to explore and come to a deeper understanding of my own identity, and the worlds in which I live.
3. What's the best advice that you can give to someone who is exploring your career?
The thing that makes you unique and idiosyncratic and weird is your gift as a writer.
4. What does socializing with purpose mean to you?
I like to spend time with people who help me learn and expand my vision.
