It's no secret that we're big fans of movies around here so we're launching a monthly curated pick
of something you may have missed or just have to see. We look forward to showing these in our
screening room in the future but, for now, let's watch at home, together.
Our first pick is from our founder John Ridley - 

I wanted to take a moment to give my personal recommendation to one film in particular: Beanpole. As a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ International Film Committee, I had the opportunity to see this incredible film earlier this year. Directed by Russian “wunderkind" Kantemir Balagov, Beanpole took home the awards for Best Director and the FIPRESCI Prize at Un Certain Regard in Cannes 2019, the film is "an entrancing immersion into post-war turmoil and a towering ode to female resilience.” Please join me in watching, or re-watching, Beanpole streaming exclusively this month on MUBI.
